In case you haven’t noticed, I’m a big fan of tulle skirts. They’re so fun to dress up or down and they just feel so feminine and whimsical! I don’t always classify myself as super girly, but there’s just something that feels so princessy when you put on a tulle skirt!
Thankfully, my dear friend Lindsay Steele is an incredible photographer who shares my love of whimsy and bright colors. When I mentioned that I was considering bringing a tulle skirt to our shoot, she insisted! I paired it with an acid wash button down shirt and my studded heels (Valentino dupe, hello!) to make the whole look a little more edgy.
Thank goodness Longview, Texas is full of awesome colorful photo spots and since it’s a smaller town it’s not nearly as crowded as trying to take photos in Deep Ellum or other hot spots here in Dallas. This awesome teal wall is in downtown Longview and it was PERFECT – couldn’t have asked for a better spot to snap some photos. I’ve got two other fab outfits to share with you from my day with Lindsay – can’t wait to show you!!!
