Like so many of you guys, I suffer from an array of skin issues that I’m constantly trying to “fix” – rosacea, acne, eczema, dry skin and sensitivity. So yeah, there’s a lot happening on my face. I’ve never been one of those girls who feels totally comfortable just walking out the door without any makeup on. I’m not expecting to ever have “perfect” skin but I’m doing everything I can lately to try to improve it. Except I’m not giving up dairy…I will never do that.
Serums have been on my radar for quite some time, but to be honest, I just have a hard time spending $30-$50 (or more) on a face product that may or may not work for me. Yes some places have return policies, but you have to stick with face products for a while before you know if they work or not so I usually end up just keeping them. I really needed to find some affordable serums but nothing I could find really fit the bill.
A few weeks ago, a friend of mine posted about The Ordinaries affordable serums. The inexpensive price point was definitely the first thing that caught my eye so I started scoping out the website and ended up purchasing the Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 serum that’s 6.80 CAD, aka $5.11! It’s so moisturizing and a perfect dupe for the $40 hydrating serum I got for free that I was loving but would never purchase because of the price point. I also wanted to note that Ordinaries has a 365 day refund policy and they don’t do animal testing.
Ordinaries also has lots of other affordable serums that you can mix and match to fix your needs – the most expensive one is Buffet, an anti-aging serum that’s a whopping $11.13. There’s a primer coming out soon that you KNOW I’m going to try ($3.69 yeah I’m going to try it).
All items ship free for a limited time so get your orders in ASAP. If you’re feeling overwhelmed about the options, check out their Regimen Guide to help determine what affordable serum (or combination of serums) is best for your skin needs. You’re also welcome to ask me questions but keep in mind I’m not a dermatologist or skincare expert.
Happy Saturday and happy shopping!
