Disclosure: This dress was gifted by Redbubble for the sake of this post – of course, all opinions are my own. Thanks for supporting the brands that help make this blog possible!
If you’re a student or a teacher, I hate to be the bearer of bad news buuuuuut it’s almost time to head back to school, y’all! *Parents around the country rejoice!* Say what you want about dress codes (I think most of them are trash), but they exist and sometimes it can be really hard to find cute and comfy clothes to wear that also fit the dress code!
Thankfully this dress from Redbubble goes all the way down to my knees so it would definitely be appropriate for most schools! I wasn’t sure if this cut be one that I like but I absolutely love it! Shift dresses are really popular right now, but they just don’t fit me right most of the times – by the time I get it to fit in the hips it’s *way* too big in the chest. I LOVE this dress because it’s A-line so it’s a breezy fit, even though I’m pear shaped. This would definitely be a winner for lots of body types.
This particular print is BOMB for school because it’s Alice in Wonderland themed! Seriously how cute would this be for a teacher – you could easily add a cardigan if sleeves are required at your school. They have tons of other prints (like….thousands) available, so if this one doesn’t do it for you, you could easily stock up on other prints in this same style.
With such a busy print, I wanted to keep all the focus on that. I kept it really simple with literally no jewelry, a black and brown tote bag and platform flats.
Are you ready for back to school?! I’m not ready for school zones and school traffic, I’ll tell you that much!
