Diversity-Chic-Sandals-and-Floralsweb This day is the absolute best because not only is it Thursday Threads….it’s also Diversity Chic day!!! This month we opted to go for two trends and tackle floral and sandals at once – both huge trends that are bound to make an appearance every summer! I’m going to go ahead and apologize in advance for how….glowy I am….it was hot, y’all! Sweating is just nature’s highlighter haha. How Stephanie managed to take all these photos of us AND still look glam, I will never know!!! Dallas-Fashion-Bloggers-Diversity-Chic-Floral-0829 I haven’t really been into super feminine florals lately, so I combined two of my more abstract floral patterns from my closet. The top is from the Prabal Gurung for Target collection from a few years ago – I’ve been eyeing it for a while and finally broke down and bought it on eBay a few weeks ago for less than $10 (including shipping)! The skirt is an awesome greyscale floral pattern A-line that you’ve probably seen on the blog before. For the most part, I just don’t like them on me. I just don’t like them that much, plus I have super long toes so I feel like they never fit me right! I found these white platform heels at Target and fell in LOVE. Spice Girls, anyone?! I knew they HAD to be mine and I’m so happy I got them! They’re comfortable, lightweight and easy to walk in….cannot recommend these platforms enough. All of my 90s dreams are coming true with these platforms…if you read this you KNOW how much I love the Spice Girls. Girl Power! WANT MORE: Catch up on our Diversity Chic posts here! 1. Thanks so much! And thank goodness glowy is in haha. I wasn’t really sure what would happen with this outfit but I ended up loving it – gotta mix these pieces around more often. Thanks for stopping by and joining the linkup 🙂

  2. This is a really cute post & I do love how you’ve done your eyebrows #onfleek because they definitely look impeccable. I also love all of the color going on as I’m a big fan of bright colors! xx

    1. Girl, thank you!!!! I always feel like they look CRAZY but my natural brows are just so dang dark that when I fill them, they really pop! haha. There’s a time and place for neutrals, but you can usually find me in bright colors 🙂

  3. What a gorgeous group of gals! I love how floral is always in style, it’s beautiful on each of you!

  4. You guys are the absolute cutest! I get so excited when I see the Diversity Chic shots — you all always look amazing! I am totally loving your abstract floral on floral 🙂

    1. Thank you so much, Jenn! We just felt like the blogging community needed a little shakeup and since we’re all different culturally and also with our look, style, body type, etc, we could just embrace those differences!

  5. I love the way you paired the top with the skirt, and you definitely rock those shoes!! I love the look! And the shoot with all of yall is so cute!

    1. Eeek I was going through my email and realized I never responded to this! Thanks for popping by, we’re photographing our next Diversity Chic this weekend so it should be up soon!

  6. What?! This is seriously so fun! Are those your friends or other bloggers you’ve met?! I am so jealous… what a blast! And you’re freaking adorable… can’t get over it.

    1. Ummm I feel like such a jerk for never responding to this! They’re both bloggers and friends! We met thanks to blogging but they’re probably my three besties so we decided to just start this monthly series!
