Shirt: Everyday Unicorns (available here, for reference I’m wearing a medium) | Skirt: Forever 21 via Buffalo Exchange | Fishnets: Boohoo (available here, warning, these are pretty small, next time I’ll buy plus size so they fit better over my thighs) | Booties: Charlotte Russe (back in stock! available here!) | Choker: Forever 21 (similar here) | Bag: Truffle Shuffle (available here)
You’ve heard me talk about Everyday Unicorns quite a bit but I realized it was high time I spend a bit more time showing you Everyday Unicorns products! Today I’m styling one of my favorite items in the shop – a super comfy crop with (of course) a quirky feminist message. OH and did I mention I’m hosting a huge giveaway?! I didn’t, but…now you know. More on that in a second.
One common misconception about crop tops is that you have to have your stomach exposed to wear them…not true! I’m not crazy about showing my whole stomach (although I love having a little peek out), so I style my crop tops with high waisted bottoms. But of COURSE there’s nothing wrong with showing your stomach – you do you! That’s just a personal preference for me and I know some people reading might shy away from crop tops for that reason.
This skirt is an old favorite of mine, I got it second hand at Buffalo Exchange and it goes with tons of stuff in my closet! Fishnets are super in style right now and I absolutely love them, so I’m taking every opportunity to work them into my wardrobe. If you’re ever looking for a way to “edge up” a look….fishnets will do the trick!
Oh and these booties? Don’t even get me STARTED! These velvet booties were somewhat of an impulse buy from Charlotte Russe but they were the last pair so for a whopping $9.99, they were worth every single penny. Even if they are a little uncomfortable…
One very lucky winner will win SIX items from the Everyday Unicorns shop – one each month for the next six months. Who doesn’t love getting packages and you’ll be getting SIX if you win! It’s so easy to enter, just input your email at the bottom of this post. If you want more chances to win, follow the prompts on the screen. Easy. I would loooooove for one of my wonderful readers to win!
