If I say the words “Stranger Things” and you’ve seen the show, you will probably have some kind of ridiculous reaction. I know for me personally it’s usually something along the lines of “OH MY GOSH IT’S SO GOOD YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT RIGHT NOW!!!” Soooo when I saw this shirt pop up on Totally Good Time’s Instagram, I knew I had to get my hands on it.
If you know me personally, you know the last few months have been pretty difficult. Without getting into too many details, my husband was laid off totally unexpectedly and we didn’t really know what the future held for us. I was physically and mentally exhausted – I couldn’t sleep and I spent most of the waking hours in physical pain because of the stress. A week or two in, I got an Instagram notification – a friend tagged me in a photo (that no longer exists for some reason) announcing that Gillian Anderson, David Duchovny, Mitch Pileggi and William B Davis would all be in Chicago for Wizard World Comic Con. I had to be there.
It was the worst possible time for me to be planning a trip, but thankfully I had quite a bit of extra money coming in that month and my amazing husband said to go for it. I booked a flight to Chicago and bought my Wizard World ticket. Fast forward a few weeks later and at 4:45AM on Thursday, I was leaving for the airport. Yes, I took a 7AM flight….it was the cheapest option!
Up until a few months ago, I had only seen a handful of episodes of the Kardashians. 1-2 at most, and then a few episodes of Kim and Kourtney Take New York (because OBVIOUSLY I watched the Kris Humphries episodes back in the day). But that was it! I’ve always kept up with their lives via social media and the tabloids though, because that’s just the kind of person I am. For some reason, I gave in and started watching some of the new episodes….then….I started at season one. And yep…I’ve watched every single episode since then (plus some of the spinoff seasons). Here’s what happens when you binge watch Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
This weekend, I’m headed out to Tulsa. Why, Tulsa? (But seriously, why does it have to be Tulsa?) Because that’s where Hanson is from, and that’s where Hanson Day happens.
Yep, I’m a huge Hanson fan. HUGE, Y’ALL.
Beyoncé does not need me to go to bat for her. Let me start my post by saying I am 100% aware of that. But, despite the fact that we’re in year 17 of Beyoncé fame, the haters are still there. Haters will be haters but I’m here to tell you why I will go to bat for Beyoncé every time.
