I cannot believe the week is finally here – Fan Expo Dallas is just a few short days away! At Fan Days this past fall, they announced 2017 would only have two cons so it’s been a longer than normal wait (typically there’s a February con too), but honestly I’m really excited about it and I think the wait will make it even better. They’ve got tons of amazing celebrity guests in store (Mark Hamill, Tim Curry, Eliza Dushku, Norman Reedus and Jeffrey Dean Morgan from The Walking Dead, and Stan Lee…to name a few!)
As you may know, attending cons is seriously one of my favorite things to do. I’ve been interested in going to them for years and since I attending my first con in Irving 2 years ago I’ve been addicted! I don’t think I’ve missed a Dallas Fan Days or Dallas Comic Con since then – and for good reason! Past con posts here, here, here, here, here and here (phew!)
This time around for Dallas Fan Days, I wasn’t planning on doing any photo ops or autographs. But after attending the Christian Slater panel on Saturday and watching Heathers that night….I couldn’t resist a Sunday photo at his table!
If I say the words “Stranger Things” and you’ve seen the show, you will probably have some kind of ridiculous reaction. I know for me personally it’s usually something along the lines of “OH MY GOSH IT’S SO GOOD YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT RIGHT NOW!!!” Soooo when I saw this shirt pop up on Totally Good Time’s Instagram, I knew I had to get my hands on it.
It’s spring and I feel like I’ve been soaking up every minute of spring weather before the triple digit Texas summer hits! (Although last year we had a pretty mild summer so…fingers crossed).
You know the drill for spring fashion – pastels, floral, lace, etc. While those are all fine and dandy, at this particular moment they’re just not my thing. Now that doesn’t mean in two months I won’t be rocking some floral but at this particular moment, it’s not what I’m gravitating towards. I’ve been pulling out more neutrals from my closet in comfortable but chic silhouettes – which is exactly what this look is. Then to make it more seasonally appropriate, I just accessorize! Also spring makeup…which I might’ve gone a little crazy with here. I blame the Vice 4 palette.
