Featuring my favorite cheap beauty buys – nothing over $5.00 in this one! Click through to see my favorite cheap drugstore products that are $5 and under!
Sometimes I think blogs go a little overboard with high end makeup. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good splurge every once in a while (as evidenced by this post), but there’s nothing better than a beauty steal! That’s why I’m featuring my favorite cheap beauty buys – nothing over $5.00 in this one! Check out the video and then click through the products below to shop!

elf Mattifying Blotting Sheets ($5) – Keep oily skin at bay with oil blotting sheets! elf also has a $1 version that doesn’t come in a fancy plastic box.

elf Beautifully Bare Lipstick ($5) – Comes in three shades but I’m especially loving Touch of Nude. Gorgeous on it’s own or mixed with other nude or pink lipsticks.

ColourPop Lippie Stix ($5) – I have SO many of these and they’re honestly all fantastic. They come in tons of colors and finishes, so there really is something for everything. The fact that they’re only available online is really the only con to buying ColourPop. Here I am wearing Brills:

NYX Cosmetics Jumbo Eye Pencil Milk ($4.50) – You can use this product for SO many things including lining the waterline, using it as a base for eyeshadow or layering underneath light colored lipstick.

NYX Wonder Pencil ($4.49) – Another insanely versatile product, use this to line the waterline, highlight the brow, conceal small blemishes or line around your lips to prevent bleeding.

elf Shadow Lock Primer ($2.00) – Always wear this under your eyeshadow and/or eyeliner. Always. ALWAYS.

elf Kiss It Goodbye Lip Color Remover ($3.00) – I use this anytime I’m wearing matte lipsticks or anything super dark. No need to use it on a daily basis, but it’s great to have for those “hard to remove” lippies.

Essence All About Matte Fixing Powder ($3.99) – Apply this with a brush or Beauty Blender to set your makeup and give it a flawless finish. This one is a compact so it’s much easier to travel with than a loose powder.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Eyeshadow Stick ($4.49) – Gorgeous and super easy to work with, I wear the shade Bulletproof Beige when I want a subtle shimmer on my eye. Here’s how it looks (click here for the tutorial!)

NYX HD Concealer ($4.99) – My ride or die concealer. I seriously love this stuff.

elf Eyebrow Duo Brush ($3.00), elf Crease Brush ($3.00), elf Smudge Brush ($1.00) – I use all three of these brushes on a daily basis! The eyebrow duo brush for (of course) eyebrows, the crease brush for….the crease and the smudge brush to put shadow on my lower lash line.

NYX Round Case Lipstick ($3.99) – Comes in tons of shades and for some reason everyone seems to pass on this collection. Don’t sleep on it, y’all.

ColourPop Super Shock Shadow ($5.00) – If you’re looking for metallic shadows, these cannot be beat.

Lashes from Miss A ($1.00) – One dollar for a set of lashes you can wear over and over again? Yes please.

  1. I’ve used the Rimmel scandaleyes before, but how do you sharpen it? Or can you? It seems like such a waster if you use it down the the nub and that’s it.

    1. So a lot of the reviews say you can’t sharpen them but I was just able to sharpen mine! It’s kind of a weird wood so maybe it doesn’t work for some sharpeners?
