Two Way Tuesday returns! In case you’re new here, every Tuesday I show two unique ways to wear one piece. That’s one piece, two ways. If you’re a blogger…join me! Link up below anytime – it doesn’t have to be on Tuesday 🙂
Today I’m showcasing some new booties that have made their way into my closet and I’m soooo glad to have them. I stalked them at Target for several months so when they went on clearance for $10, I snagged a pair! They still have some online for a little more but I promise they’re totally worth it.
This first outfit was a fun one because it was kind of an unexpected combination. I was looking for an out-of-the-box way to wear a vintage inspired dress. For all the details, you can check out this post.

If you’ve read this blog at all, you know how much I love pairing feminine, dressy pieces with more masculine or casual items. So for this outfit I kind of threw a bunch of stuff on until it worked. The skirt was one I had been eyeing for a while and I’m SO thrilled I finally bought it. I can’t find it online anymore but I’ve linked a similar one. As for the shirt, if you’re familiar with Regular Show you know how wonderful my shirt is. If you’re not familiar, please go watch it.
The jacket was an AMAZING vintage thrift find from Styled by Dionne Dean. In her words “It’s so Saved by the Bell” (it’s even Jordache, people!) If you aren’t following Dionne, you definitely should because she finds the most AMAZING pieces I’ve ever seen! She’s offering thrift boxes where you give her your size and she does the digging for you. Can’t beat that!
Shirt: Threadless ($12) | Necklace: Cents of Style ($10) | Booties: Target ($10) | Jacket: thrifted by Styled by Dionne Dean | Skirt: Shop September ($75; similar here) | Tights: Old | Lips: Wicked Lippies in Cold Hearted ($6) with black lipliner underneath
Also, guess what people…I got a new camera! These photos were taken by my dear husband with my new fancypants camera. So stoked to start sharing high quality images on EVERY post. This is a really big deal.
