I’ve been wanting to share this skirt with you guys for a while now and last night I FINALLY remembered to take pictures (before we went to see Guardians of the Galaxy at my favorite place in Dallas…Alamo Drafthouse)!

Since it’s still a million degrees, I paired this AMAZING pencil skirt from Shelley Bee Originals with my favorite, super comfy crop top from Riley Clay Designs. When I’m going to the movies, I always make sure to wear something really comfortable since I know I’m going to be shifting around a lot in my seat. I also wore some studded booties that I got on clearance at Target a few years ago. I have to be really careful with them because apparently they can look kind of western and, I don’t know if you’ve noticed…but that’s not really my thing.

This skirt is AMAZING! So comfortable and soft, it’s two layers so it’s not see-through, and of course…IT HAS TWO PRINTS! What more could a girl ask for!? I think mixing patterns is one of the easiest ways to say “hey, I know what I’m doing with clothes and I’m risky,” and this skirt is the easiest way ever to accomplish that….all the hard work is done for you! Just pair it with a solid top (tied up chambray, solid color v neck, graphic t, etc) and you’re good to go! It’s dressy enough for work but casual enough to wear with a t shirt and some Converse. Basically, I love this skirt and everyone should buy one. Right now.

Finally, I topped off this look with one of my headbands from With Love From Rigby. This one is The Coco in peach-coral and it’s one of my new favorites. It really dresses up an outfit but it’s small enough that it’s not TOO flashy.

Nope, not pregnant. Just a food baby from the 32 ounce smoothie I consumed immediately before I took these photos. Oops.

The waistband is one of my favorite parts about this skirt. It’s just really perfect, okay guys?!
