I have to tell you guys something: this girl hates summer. I’m a grown up now so I have to work through summer, my teacher friends won’t shutup about being off work (or how hard it is to go back to school), I’m too pale to get a tan, work appropriate clothes are always too hot and I ALWAYS START SWEATING when I have to blow dry my hair.

So I decided to just say “screw it” and wear a fall outfit. If you’re not in Texas you might think “oh, that could pass for a summer outfit,” but YOU WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND THE HEAT, OKAY?!

I just got this new chambray shirt and I’m totally obsessed (sorry it’s thrifted so I can’t give you a link!). It’s the perfect cut and really soft and I have like a million outfits planned with it. You’ll be seeing a lot more of it so get excited! I paired it with my trusty H&M jeans I bought in Amsterdam (fancy!), my super soft and wonderful Riley Clay shirt and some Hawaiian floral Toms…just to keep the summer vibe going a bit.
